    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

The stallion wakes with a shiver running through his body, his past dreams had perhaps been rather violent, forcing him to wake and face the unruly word that lay before him. But the world could always use some fixing, a balance needing to shift, Ruinam placing himself in that exact spot, failing to filfull his own desires in order to help another, serve them even.
The ivory male stands, shaking in order to get rid of the leaves that decorated his white pelt, he smiled toward his companion as he began to move toward the border of Sylva, reaching it quite quickly when moving with speed.

The stallion crosses into Loess, thankfully the travel to the field would be easy, friendly kingdoms allowed him to pass without second thought, he would use this to his own advantage of course.
The stallion increases to a canter, now moving quickly through Loess and toward the forest.
Once the male had finally crossed into the forest he halted for a moment, admiring the glare of sunshine that was able to break through the canopy of thick trees, the white male basked in the vicious sunlight, his eyes closed as he indulged in the warmth. But there was work to do, or perhaps the lack of work that drove him forward, now speeding toward the field.

The white droplet of snow moves slowly across the warm expanse of grass-filled land, inhaling the sweet blossoming scent of flowers as summer infiltrates each cold corner of the land. Ruinam indulges in the pleasant feeling as he continues to move, a small white splodge of fur travelling alongside him, frequent yips and howls sounding from the small critter as it bounced beside him, happy to be exploring outside of Sylva.

The stallion is drawn to the field today unwind and ease up, possibly also to see if any nomadic horses were around that he could possibly bring back to Sylva as citizens.
He still felt like he would need to prove himself to both Sinner and Mary, wanting to serve and help both of them, maybe if he could recruit someone today he would be able to help himself, but then again he could just use the time alone to help him regenerate and regain energy, something he didn't always have time to do.

The possibilities were all there for him to take, but for now, all he could think about was sleep, not even able to remember the last time he was able to close his eyes for a moment, too busy trying to serve another to take care of himself.
The stallion exhales the air from his lungs loudly and walks toward a large oak tree, sliding down the side of the base quietly, resting his head on the grassy floor beneath him, his crimson eyes shut quietly as his companion wades over to him, gently placing himself beside the stallion, blending in with his white coat.

Thankfully, sleep came easily to him, he wasn't one to worry about the danger around him or the possibility of entering a world of nightmares.
The stallion slows his breathing as he drifts to sleep, happily lost in his own dreams.
