This is a dog genetics trivia quest!
You'll find all of the answers here, but prepare to educate yourselves.
There will be no defects as a result of this quest.
1. What is phaeomelanin?
2. What is the difference between ticking and roaning?
3. What does the B locus control on dogs?
4. What are the alleles on the A locus, listed from most to least dominant?
5. What is the proper way to abbreviate the Dominant Black allele when writing out a phenotype?
6. What is the difference between Harlequin as it is known in Great Danes and Psuedo/Herding Harlequin?
7. List two known genes that have no current genetic test?
