    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    He tells her "ooh love".
He, too, had turned his back on her and walked away.

Never before she had thought betrayal would be this raw. It hurt, it hurt so badly. The one Kylin had trusted to never let her down, had just done that. Weren’t they supposed to be together? Forever? It was how they had entered the world, so weren’t they also supposed to live their lives together? She definitely wanted that. But now, now she wasn’t so sure anymore.

That night, she hadn’t go home. Neither had she stayed near the little spring Kharon had claimed as theirs. The thought alone pulled a sob from her lips. The memory of how it was together, the more lonely she now felt. Very exposed too, very naked to the eye, without Kharon at her side. Not to mention that she had slept horrible. Very alone and very cold.

Going by the stance sun, it was late in the morning, perhaps noon already. She had yet to go home and her confusion has her torn. Kylin is dying to get back, to press herself at his side as his wing hugs her close. Though, at the same time she doesn’t even want to think of what to say to him. Never before had Kylin felt this miserable. So lonely.
