    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Journey continues...
    #1
Since feeling the presence of her past in the Forest she had been on the move for days.  Foam forming across her curves like the ocean waves brought to the shores.  She moved quickly within the shadows of Taiga.  Undetected by the residents there.  She didn't wish to disturb them and she needed more distance between her and her past.

The tree cover here comforted her.  She always preferred the shadows.  First time in days she slowed, catching her breath.  Globes scanned the new lands... There was a peaceful aura about it.  She liked peace.  She had always been one to reason for it.  She wondered though where the residents of this land gathered... Was there a large family group or did the equines here scatter about and mind their own...

She was exhausted from traveling and decided hidden within these canopies she may rest briefly.  She rarely found enough security to lower her body to the turf but she was too tired to care.  Pillars folded as her frame collapsed with a large sigh.  Globes eased closed but satellites scanned for any possible disturbance.  Would she find what she seeked in this land... Only time would tell
