    Custom Profiles
    To edit your profile, go to the User CP --> Edit Profile. We encourage you to fill out your profile as completely as possible. Not only will your horse's profile display look much nicer, but it’s an easy way for you to keep track of your character’s information and for others to learn about your horse.
    1. Account Type: There are two types of accounts: horse account and OOC account. As explained in the joining section, you must have an OOC account, which is your master account. Horse accounts are optional, but highly encouraged. Ensure that for all of your accounts, the correct Account Type is chosen.
    2. Optional Fields and Additional Information: These are the sections where you can fill in information regarding your character (or yourself if you want a fun OOC profile).
    3. Hover and Mini Profile Fields: These are the last three fields of your profile. These three fields control the colors for the mini-hover profile (hover over the author information in threads and you'll see more information display). When filling out these fields, make sure you use valid CSS colors, or the code will not work. You can use CSS color keywords (for a complete list, go here or hex codes. A proper hex code is six digits long and proceeded by a #. For a great tool to help you determine the hex code you want, please go here.
    4. Custom User Title: You can change your user title, which is the tagline underneath your avatar. Enter your custom user title into the text box here, and make sure to save the changes.
    5. Custom HTML: Custom HTML is allowed in posts, and MyBB supports both MyBB code and HTML/CSS. If you need help making HTML, we have an "HTML and Image Request" board. Please read the board rules, and then feel free to post there and someone will help you out. There is also an HTML tutorial here and free templates here.
    6. Images and HTML should not exceed 650 pixels wide.
    7. Avatars: Custom Avatars are allowed. To change your avatar, go to your User CP and under "Your Profile" choose the "Change Avatar" option.
    8. Avatars should be no more than 120 x 120 pixels, and cannot exceed 30KB.
