Piety was born a Falls Princess to Texas and Prague but was basically raised by Nikkai and considered her son Ruggiero almost like her own brother. Nikkai was murdered, pushed off the waterfall, and it traumatized Piety tremendously. She took the loss hard but remained in the kingdom , always knowing that she belonged there. Soon after that she started hearing singing and realized it was coming from the waterfall. It was a way for the land to express it's desires or warn her of potential danger. As they grew up, Piety realized she cared for Ruggiero more than in a friendly way but he was in love with Dillan. She kept this to herself for awhile, unwilling to ruin their happiness. Eventually Ruggiero admitted he felt the same for her and split with Dillan who was unwilling to share him. They were quite in love and had one child together, Nekana. Shortly after her birth, Piety was called into the cave behind the waterfall and fell into a deep sleep and remained there for years, undiscovered. Finally she woke and emerged to a now world. The Falls and the Dale had been merged and the land called her out when they needed her most. Her beloved was gone but she made the best of the situation, throwing her heart and soul into the thing she loved most. She played her role in helping the Fall citizens kick out the Daleans and opening up the healing waters to other kingdoms in exchange for peace. Her time in the Falls this time did not last long, the song calling her back to the cave and back to slumber. There she remains until the Falls calls her once more, when it needs her most.
