Neso is a rather cheerful mare who will find hope in some of the darkest times. Of course, it is easy to become damaged, abused, misled, or even worse when you are like that in a world like this. Believe me, Neso knows that perfectly well. She does not deny what happened four years ago and accepts the event easily. That her loved ones are lost. That she is far, far from home. All of it. She couldn't deny that if she tried. The thoughts lurk in her mind every waking moment after all. Instead, she has denied the intoxicating feelings brought on by those memories for four years now. She constantly denies that they are even there, smothering them with an overpowering sense of excitement, energy, and hope. One must wonder when she will actually face everything that happened four years ago or if she will die in denial. I'm sure that the fact that she doesn't trust easily helps this. There's no one she feels as though she can truly speak to about what happened because anyone who knew what happened or was close to her is long gone. Along with her trust issues, even though it may not be easy to detect, she has built up walls in her mind against others, possibly even herself which would explain how she has been able to deny those feelings for so long. She has quite a strong sense of curiosity which can get her into quite a bit of trouble at times but I suppose it's preferable to be too curious rather than not curious at all. She has a bit of a clever mind that wishes to understand things and can't often overthink things, working her into a bit of a fit. She has never thought of having foals before no has made a plan to have one by a certain age. Until now, she had either been too young or was never in a situation where it would be a remotely good idea. Plus, as of right now there is no one who she actually wants to have a foal with. There's no one at the moment who she actually trust enough to even have a romantic interest in. Although, between you and me? She has quite the soft spot for foals and I'm sure she wouldn't be against having one someday. If you do ever happen to somehow tear down a few walls and get close to her, be proud. It's quite the accomplishment to get close to this mare. Don't you dare even think about trying to betray her or cross her after you have gotten close to her because she will meet that with words that cut like glass and are soaked with intoxicating venom. At that point she would be pleased to find your body festering and filled with maggots somewhere. Maybe she would even try to smash your skull or crush your throat as well then. Basically do not cross her once she lets you get close.
