When Kaelie was two, Alysanne and Modred decided to leave Beqanna before the Deserts/Valley war. They lived outside of Beqanna until April 2014, when Alysanne and Kaelie returned to the Falls, followed not long after by Kaelie and Kellan. Modred however, did not return to the Falls but went instead to the beach. On June 15, 2014 two horses from the Chamber, Rodrik and Oksana, came to take the Falls throne and give it to Oksana. Kaelie, in an uncharacteristic moment of leadership, gave the throne to the Chamber girl, with the consent of the kingdom. Not long after, Kaelie and Oksana found their difference of opinion over the use of the healing waterfalls. Upset with the direction of her kingdom, Kaelie came across a visitor from the Gates, Finnley, and went to the Gates with him just for a tour. However, as she walked through the Gates with the boy, she began to realize that maybe home wasn't the Falls afterall, particularly given how much she liked Finnley. Love, perhaps. So she decided to leave the Falls for the Gates. On September 21, 2014, Rodrik returned to Kaelie's life, but this time in the Gates in order to help Finnley overthrow the current Gate's King and take the throne for himself. Finnley was met without any opposition from the members of the Gates and ascended to the throne peacefully, and the Chamber left. However, this forged an alliance between the Chamber and the Gates, leaving Kaelie somewhat uncertain. Kaelie stayed in the Gates despite this though, and gave birth to Finnley's daughter, Camelia, on November 3, 2014. Shortly after, on November 6, 2014, Kaelie was promoted to Queen of the Gates. Kaelie and Finnley ruled quietly for a few years until their first daughter, Camelia, came of age and was gifted her voice through the help of her knight in shinning armor. On January 26, 2015, Finnley and Kaelie stepped down and gave the throne to Camelia, who was ready and anxious to lead the Gates.
