Maiven's past is foggy with confusion. She remembers two parents a small clutch of family, all banded together. One day, while the group were making their way through Beqanna on their way to a new land, Maiven's attention was stolen by a dragonfly. On her question to catch the insect she became separated from her family and lost to them forever...

Year 196
As winter threatens to rear it's ugly head upon the land, Maiven lays huddled and hidden in the meadow. It's there that she encounters Durotan, who promises to keep her safe until they can locate her family. The pair travel together through winter and Maiven slowly comes to accept her fate and her new life with Durotan. As they search for a permanent home, the pair meets Wound in the forest on their way to Ischia.

Year 197
Springs falls upon the land and the two have finally decided upon a permanent home, Ischia. Arriving there, the two are greeted by Hod. Grateful, Maiven enjoys her first moment of normalcy. It's summer when she's finally beginning to feel comfortable enough to explore the island and it's during these explorations that she meets Dario and Drax. The three of them play and slowly start to build a friendship. However, Maiven's world is turned upside down once more when Brennen steals the throne from Krone. Loyal to her adoptive father, she sticks to his side as they flee to Tephra. It takes her some time to feel comfortable again and she slowly finds herself accepting her new family for what it is. Anticipating the arrival of a new sibling Maiven works on forging a relationship with Krone's twins. Older and more mature, she is allowed more freedom and it's as she revisits the meadow that she stumbles upon an old friend, Drax...
