When his icey homeland fell to the destruction of war, he lost all his family and friends to a selfish need for power. Admitting defeat and not wanting to serve under a tyrant, he left. Flying across the seas until the atmosphere of Beqanna stripped him of his "Mental Flight". He than swam to the shore of Sylva where he pledged his loyalty to Sylvas Queen Sabra. In an attempt to recruit he traveled to the forest and met Porcia. A kind young girl. They are spotted by a dark, firey mare Hestia(Queen of Nerine). He finds her intimidating but extends and invite to Porcia to visit Sylva. His name is called to the battlegrounds where a mare named Volcan challenges him to a battle. He declines the challenge to accept her terms of visiting Nerine. Battles are for bloodshed, not to establish visits. He follows her to Nerine and anticipates finding Hestia there as well. A land of self-proclaimed women warriors wasn't a snake pit he wished to fall victim too. He enters the Beqanna Games and is part of team Alpha
