Echidna has the charisma of barbwire, meaning there is rarely anything soft or sweet about her. It isn’t in her genetic makeup to feel too deeply, she much prefers letting everything slide off her like nothing matters. Which it doesn’t, or maybe it does. Echidna can find lots of reason why she should care about something but they never outweigh the reasons why she shouldn’t, so there is always a steely look of indifference on her face. There isn’t a maternal bone in her entire body and she isn’t shy about letting others know what exactly is on her mind.

Some might say she’s too brutal in her honesty, Echidna just doesn’t like games. Not that she likes much else. If you want under her skin, past the barriers, it’ll take some major work and it’ll have to be done carefully because years of disappointment have made her tougher than ever.

No, she won’t fight for you but she probably won’t fight against you either. Echidna only wants one thing and that’s to be left alone. If that means she’ll have to kick butt and take names, then that’s what she’ll do. All in all, Echidna is pretty harmless.

She isn’t afraid to step up and speak her mind, she’s tasted glory and power, lived in temples and traded secrets with demons. Echidna has seen everything and you are more than likely not going to impress her, unless you can do something entirely mind boggling. Even then, it’s doubtful she would let on. There’s no time for emotions in her humble opinion, which, in her humble opinion, is the only one that matters.

But don’t think she’s a hopeless cause. Echidna has been a mother, a warrior, and a lover despite her dramatic character flaws. She’s capable of anything and everything she sets her mind to, it just takes a lot of skill to casually worm your way into her non-existent heart.
