Oswyn was born in the Valley to Syntyche and Taoh. Her parents were not in love, but Taoh was interested in knowing his children, and Syntyche wanted to have traited children, so she let Taoh stick around. Syntyche was trait obsessed, and when Oswyn was born and showed that she had inherited Syntyche's telekinesis, Syntyche fairly worshipped the ground she walked on. But, Syntyche was fairly busy with kingdom business, so Taoh pretty much raised Oswyn during her first year and she grew close to her father for a short time. When Oswyn was a year old, her parents had another child, an untraited boy called Rhory. Being that Rhory was untraited, Syntyche barely tolerated him, and Taoh ended up raising the boy mostly on his own. At this point, Syntyche took Oswyn more under her wing and she started to grow apart from him and more follow her mother's teachings - ultimately becoming trait obsessed as well. This was much in line with what the Valley queen of the time, Elite, believed, and so when Elite sacrificed a number of horses to call upon her father Carnage, Oswyn joined Elite and many other horses in paying homage to the magical stallion (though she did not participate in the massacre). She also bred with Carnage during this time, giving birth to a powerful iron son, Khaos, whom she worshipped and adored, and trained to be a cold blooded, cruel stallion. When the Valley was attacked by the other kingdoms of Beqanna in retaliation, Oswyn fought for her queen and helped to kill Corman, King Tatter of the Chamber, and Jovi during the battle. After the Valley lost, Oswyn left, and spent a good amount of time wandering both inside and outside of Beqanna. She had many children during this time, though she instantly abandoned those that were born without a trait or unusual colour. She eventually heard of her son Khaos' death at the hands of Quark, the Amazon queen that had fought in the war against the Valley, and her heart was broken. After some time however, she heard of the cult that had sprung up around Khaos in Silver Cove, led by Khaos' son Kirin, and she dropped in on them from time to time, giving them gifts in the form of her traited and unusually coloured daughters, Misra, Rakshasa and Rusalka. She even bred with Kirin himself in an attempt to continue on the family legacy, creating another daughter by the name of Magnificent (whom she also left with Kirin). Eventually, she ran into Carnage again, and decided to have one last try at continuing her legacy. She became pregnant, but, due to her great age, the pregnancy was very difficult for her, and she eventually died giving birth to her last daughter Mura.
