Texas was born in the Vivid Sea, an evil herd land. His mother was the only herd mare, and he had four older siblings. All of them had mythic abilities, and so their mother, Cuerva Lista, loved them. Texas she kept just long enough to be sure that he had no traits, and then left him in the Adoption Den. Texas survived the Adoption Den through a combination of his immortality and bullheadedness, and decided to start his own herd when he was around two years old.

He claimed the Wildflower Plateau with Cut The Knife, and lived happily there, adding to his herd as time went on. When one of his mares, Believer, won the Neutral throne, Texas moved his herd there and became her King, and their herd mates the kingdom residents (as was how it happened in those days). Texas fell in love with Believer, and the two have a whole passel of children, one of whom - Oak - was appointed their heir.

When Believer died, Texas finally realized his own immortality. He left the Falls immediately, and mourned her death alone for several years. He became a herd stallion again briefly, and then co-lead a force against the Dogmatists when they attempted to take over Beqanna. During this time, he met Prague, the bane of his existence.

After the Opposition vs. Dogmatists war, Texas spent some time as a King of the Tundra, then as a herd stallion, and met a mare named Novacaine. He feel in love, but upon finding out that Novacaine was unfaithful, left her and the rest of his herd and took over the Dazzling Waterfall. He had to steal the current Queen (Nikkai), to do so, and his reign did not start well. Eventually he brought Prague to rule beside him. He loved her though they bickered, and they ruled together well. Texas was murdered by a stallion named Core, and his body fell into the pool at the bottom of the waterfall, where it stayed for a very long time

When the kingdoms joined together with the earthquakes, the magic in the world revived Texas, who climbed out of the waterfall and headed towards the Meadow. He stayed there for several years, and grew close to a mare named Lanai. He loved her, but was tired of love, and so he left her before she could break his heart. During this time he spent a good portion of his free time bothering Prague in the Jungle, where she was now queen.

He went back to the Tundra, where he became king again, and was killed (again) by a stallion named Infection. His revival was messy, and after a vain search in the Jungle for Prague, Texas has returned to the Dazzling Waterfall again. For twelve years he served under Queen Shatter Me and eventually rose to the ranks of General and Advisor before finally becoming King. He passed his throne to Kreios and Ygritte.

After the Reckoning, he fled with Lanai to an island off the coast of Beqanna where they have been living happily until present day (Spring - 207 BQ)
